In 2020, Lokanda Devetak celebrated 150 years in business. To celebrate this important anniversary, the family published a collection of photos with a short history of the family entitled “Šelinka” (available in english). This was then followed by a full-sized book "The Inn on the edge of Europe - a story of the Devetak family’s love and resistance, the family who have been welcoming the world to the Grossa Pietraia del Carso (the Karst plateau) for over one hundred and fifty years" published by Bottega Errante Edizioni and written by Enrico Maria Milič. The book was subsequently the basis for the documentary DOM, directed by Massimiliano Milic and produced by Terroir Films, also telling the story of Lokanda Devetak (watch the documentary by pasting the following link in your browser: https://qrco.de/bfAmNi ).
